Create Your Romantic Arsenal
It’s that time of year again, Valentine’s day is fast approaching. The stores started selling Valentine gifts and goodies just as soon as they cleared their shelves of the Christmas stock. Have you spent anytime checking out the neat little Valentine trinkets available? Where I live, there is a store that sells everything for a dollar, and this time of year they have an entire isle devoted to Valentine’s day.
It’s a shame that you can’t buy this stuff year around, romance is year around, right? That’s why prior to Valentine’s day I take a few trips to the department stores and stock up on goodies to refill my yearly romantic arsenal.
I’ve bought:
- heart shaped streamers
- love note paper
- packages of Valentines that say things like: “my heart is yours” and “my heart races for you”
- heart and lip shaped cookie cutters
- window stickers
- hershey kisses
…to list a few.
Whether you’re single or in a relationship, I suggest heading to a few stores to start your own romantic arsenal…because you never know when you’ll have an opportunity for romance!
